I just got off the phone with them after having an issue with the rings being gapped out of the box for the top rings at 23,21,21,20 and bottom rings at 19,20,20,21 and they will not do anything telling me that the tollerences out of the box from the factory can be up to 25. be warned when purchacing the 100mm pistons.

Also be aware that their 8.5:1 piston with EJ255 heads means you're going to get a pretty serious bump in compression. The 8.5:1 assumes you're using the EJ257 heads which are a larger volume.

compression chamber size on 255 and 257 heads are the same. 2 liter heads have a smaller compression chamber

With the old 255 yes, with the ones in the 06+ wrx, and legacy they're different.

Correct.

The 255's found in the 04-05 Foresters and Leggys were very very similar to 257's. Basically the same. But in 2006, that changed a lot.
