Default Which intake will make my turbo spool the loudest?

Im looking to get an intake for my 03 WRX and am wondering if you guys can suggest one that will make my turbo spool up the loudest. Im looking to keep my exhaust quiet and get an intake/blow off valve. Thanks for all suggestions.

he's waiting for the flaming to begin which will more than likely happen....I personally had the spt cai and it made my spooling louder, but it would get too hot. I've been told that the cobb one doesn't get as hot ergo it's better. You don't need a bov at all, but obviously you wanna make your spooling and bov sound louder so whatever knock yourself out. Can I have your stock bpv??

You might get more mileage out of this thread if you posted it in one of the turbo forums.

It will make it louder but it's up to you on how loud you want it to be.

Well I know with naturally aspirated cars, generally short ram intakes r louder than cai's for some reason its just the way it goes, but the cai's yield more power, idk if its the same for forced induction cars about the sound between cai versus sri, but if your just going for a cool sound (which is the only reason y I'm going to add when I get tuned, bc the stock airbox is plenty good) then just get the spt one for your car bc you won't have to worry about any tuning issues and do not run a bov your car will run horribly especially if you don't tune

I have the SPT sri on my 02 wrx it spools loud i guess. I have a blow off valve on my car (no i didnt put it on it was on the car when i bought it) but it runs fine. Everyone that says your car will run like shi* if you put a blow off valve on it is full of it you just run rich when you shift for a split second. I dont care how good someone can tune you can never compleetly tune that out, its just how it is. They are right you do not need a BOV the stock one is fine unless your just going for the sound you dont NEED a BOV unless your running high boost.
