Default Noob question about 1/4 mile time.

I was just curious if anyone can give me a list of mods that would get a 2004 subaru wrx (5speed) into the low 13's area? I know with LS1's all you need is a full exhaust to get you into the 13's, 99-04 mustangs all you need is full exhaust/drag radials/good c clutch to get you into the 13's so I'm curious to what i need on a 04 stock subaru to get into the 13's any suggestions of a mod list would help thanks in advance!

Diamond plate floorboards would be stage 1. Stage 2 would include a ps3 console in the dash. Let me look in my setup notes for stage 3.

13's is "easy" low 13's is a different story

Assuming you are near sea level, you can get into the high 13s with a full exhaust and manual boost controller, and some good driving. Or if you've got extra cash, ditch the MBC and get a Cobb Accessport V1 or even an old TXS Unichip for under $200

I don't know what it takes to make low 13's, but it's probably going to break your 5 speed. A stock WRX is just not a good strag strip car. The drivetrain will not hold up for long running low 13's. Clutch & tranny will take a beating.
