I love the fact that his natural instinct is to counter steer even though he has no front wheels .

To put it lightly

I can imagine what they said to Alguersuari

"Uh Jaime, just bring the car in. We're having some trouble. And don't brake too hard:

"Why? The car feels fine"

"Just bring the damn car in, trust us on this one"

Who was the track side guy on Speed the first 3 races? They said he was different for this race. He seems good so far.

Westbury Gillet was the first guy ... was he in Sepang ..? and now it's Will Thruxton who does indeed seem better.

Varsha still ignores him though...he made a great contribution about Fangio having an "f-duct" (or close enough anyways) back in the Fifties and nobody picked up on it.

Ok, so its a slow night at work.. Figured out the best setup for me (so far) away from home to watch F1. Just in dot tv seems to have the p2p station dot net feed, its austrailian but they do a little show then turn it over to the BBC commentators.

Heres the best bit. Just in tv has an Iphone ap. No popups, and the 3g at work is faster than the 1.0gpbs connection at work! So I have the Iphomne plugged into the computer speakers watching and listening

Dammit.. as I type that the feed went offline..

Nope, Newey didn't design the STR.

It almost worth watching justin.tv just to not have to listen to Varsha. I like the depth of the BBC coverage much more too.

Alonso's jump start was fishy , I watched the replays & once the lights were off he got a good start .
I could be wrong but watch it with the lights & not that guy pointing his finger .

The view from Charlie Whiting's stand was pretty telling, but Alonso's in-car view shows that he was clearly guilty. It was close, absolutely, but he did jump the start.

Interesting race, to say the least.

Yeah, I thought FA was OK until they showed the other angles, he was clearly rolling before the lights went out. Interesting that both Hami and FA pulled the same move on the pit entrance, are there any rules about being single file through the entrance? Or the pitlane itself for that matter?

I was also confused by the second SC restart where JB bunched everyone up. Hami passed Webbo before the start/finish, is that allowed? Seems the drivers think it is as Vettel was trying the same move on Hami.

Hami was too pushy today, I think Button is getting to him.

Nothing happened, not entirely sure why. Also not sure how Vettel didn't get a penalty for holding up the grid under the first safety car, or how Button didn't get a penalty for stopping the entire grid on the track before the end of the 2nd safety car. Also not sure how Hamy and Vettel didn't get penalties for passing before the line (or Hamilton for pushing Webber off track either.) I guess its nice that the stewards aren't penalizing drivers as much...but it also makes me wonder why you have the rules in the first place if you aren't going to penalize anyone?

Even though it was a frustrating race being a Vettel fan, it was great. Watching Hamilton whine was awesome, as well as Schumi being a mobile chicane for another race was great as well. Can't wait for the next race.

Me either .. I didn't like how Hamilfusss handled the incident in the press conference either of course its everyone's fault but his and it was no big deal. He's showing his whiney hot-headedness more and more IMO but what a driver though. MSC on the other hand was getting worked by everyone including rookie drivers in slower cars... mobile chicane indeed.

Sadly nothing happened. They both should have been nailed for it. 10 spot grid penalty in the next race would have been my choice. There's a reason that the moving lane is two cars wide in the pits. Watch Vettel start at the left side of it and then pinch down on Hamilton at the end of pit lane.

Vettel is quietly showing his hard ass side by messing with Hamilton in that situation and out on course during a restart when he pushed Hamilton into Webber. Vettel is going to ride his good boy image as long as he can and do that.
