Default Emblem Removal

is there any special way to take off the emblem on the front of an 02 wrx. i have a pink "i" that i want to put on without destroying the grill. any suggestions would be great

probably the wrong sub forum for this question but my "guess" would be to use a heat gun and pry it off. try the interior exterior modification sub-forum

Correct. It's just double-sided tape holding it on but heat would help. I chipped mine around the edges trying to pry it out with a flathead screwdriver. Doesn't matter since I cut the pillar out altogether, but I'd suggest using something plastic or tape up the end of a screwdriver so it won't damage the badge or the plastic around it.

Heat it up and use fishing line then just get the crap off with "Goo Off"

take some boiling water and pour it over the emblem, then go in with tooth floss and it comes off like butter
