and no, these aren't printed on the 'new' machine. The grippers on that one leave a small mark on the very thick coasters. I had to print all these on a manual table-top press. ie. slow as ****.

You better have Homer Simpson.

"To alcohol... The cause of, and solution to, all of life's problems."

I will be disappoint if not.

There are a lot of good ones. Another one I like is WC Fields:

"Twas a woman who drove me to drink. I never had the courtesy to thank her."

that was designed, but decided not to produce. We are going to sell these, and that would probably run the risk of trademark infringement.

for the most part, you can't trademark a phrase and quotes from actual people are usually in the public domain, but the character Homer Simpson is most certainly trademarked and I didnt want the potential headache.

(Understood-although I don't think it would be an issue as he is an icon/name/person to a point much like the others you are printing up, and the quote is directly related to the subject of drinking)

These look great Matt. I will take a set when you are ready. They remind me of a WC Feilds poster I have.

I like Dean Martin. I thought the quote was funny. I dislike the layout. The dashed lines are what killed it.

I love your (and most all letterpress) work, but that quote is one of my least favorite ever. That said, I'm in for coasters regardless!

I would like to experience this someday before I die.

Also, nice coasters I would like to use a set to adorn the patches of my coffee table that show through the fairly even layer of remotes and mail.
