Default Intake problem

I have 04 wrx stage 2 Cobb ap. Now I put a
k&n typhoon air filter in and car idoled fine when started then when I drive and come to a stop my car shuts off? So I put my stock back on and it's fine?what's is wrong????

your car is now running lean and or you may of had a leak somewhere after the maf

Even with the Cobb accessport version 2 ???? And yes I've double checked everything and still dies on me

To what though? I'm already using stage 2 map oct 93? My lil bro has an 07 wrx and he is stage 2 Cobb ap as well and has my old spt intake and runs fine

when you change from a stock intake to a CAI your car is going to run lean cause your getting different MAF sensor readings. try running some electrical cleaner on your maf or make sure your senesor is sitting directly on top it might not be getting air somehow

It's not an cai it's a shortram intake. Yeah I check leaks. Or it could be the maf sensor dirty. Cuz the filter is real dirty and it's been sitting in the garge for awhile.

Not to advertise for them but check out Tuning Alliance. They have maps for AP Stage 2 with a K&N Typhoon intake. that's what I'm running and it's good.

$75.00.
