Default Question about tgv's deleted and accessport V2

Does anyone have any problems passing DEQ while running tgv deletes? I keep failing DEQ becuase of being unready for evap and 02 sensor. I not throwing any codes, but on the accessport it shows a P1086 and P1084 tgv open circuit code. These codes will not clear off of the accessport when I do a ecu reset. I had a OBDII scanner hooked up and it does not see any codes.

I was wondering if anybody that had their tgv's deleted, and have a accessport, do u still see these codes on the accessport?

I might have to put the tgv's back on.

Call surgeline and see if they can send you an updated map with the TGV codes turned off.

There are several codes that must be defeated when the TGV deletes are installed.

What are the TGV delete CEL codes I need to turn off?

2004 STI, the TGV codes are called "Tumble Generated Valve" codes and they are codes P1086-P1097
2005+ STI, the TGV codes are called "Intake Manifold Runner" codes and they are codes P2004-P2022
WRX, the TGV codes are P2004, P2005, P2008, P2011, and P1086 though P1097 Tumble generator valve and valve circuit codes.

This information is somewhat outdated for the later models though, so if you see something has changed with later models or other models, please post up.

I have grimmspeed's tgvs so I couldn't keep the rod in there. Anyway, today I had an ots opensource map flashed to my car with it being forced into a ready state. Car finally passed inspection.

You need to get tuned and the tuner will do that.

best answer you will get. I deleted my tgv's myself and deleted the codes from my map also. you will have to go to whoever tuned it and have them shut off the codes, there are a few of them. if those are the only 2 showing up then just delete those 2.

if you are using the race program simply go into your accesstuner race and uncheck the codes that are coming up for tgv. It was easy and took about 10 mins to do.

Mine show up in the AP but won't show to OBDII readers. I had a similar problem to yours when getting my car emission tested here in WA. I had three sensors showing not ready. I don't recall which three but evap was one of them. I went to a shop and had them force readiness for those codes, passed emissions and then reflashed the cobb map.

Is this still a valid issue? I have an 07 WRX and have the Turn In Concepts TGV delete ready to install.

No,
I know many people who have run TGV deletes and passed DEQ, I'm pretty sure you can pass DEQ with anything if you have an AP.
