08 WRX Accessport on 09?

I searched and didn't find what I needed, so I apologize if this has been covered before.

A friend has an AP from his 08 wrx that he wants to sell. I have an 09, is there anything I need to do? Can I just remove all the 08 maps and download all of the 09 maps from the cobb site? Or do I have to pay some sort of "relicensing" fee to cobb to make the switch?

Any help is appreciated!

Switching will be free. All of Cobb's maps are free. As long as it's the AP Version 2, it will work fine with your car.
