Trying to keep the car looking decent

This is my first black car. I'm wondering what other people do as far as waxing, polishing, quick detial sprays and all that. I was my car at least once a week, but I'd like to try to get that nice deep wet look. Right now i'll be doing everything by hand, but getting a buffer isn't out of the question. What have you guys found to be good stuff to work with in your experience as far as wax and/or polish?

Pretty much covers all this. Black you want to be hyper sensitive about swirls and marring to your clear coat.
