Clark is probably the best tuner on NASIOC and has definitly tuned more cars than anyone else. Contact him through Goodspeed or www.clarkturnertuning.com

Clark is very good no doubt, but NASIOC is blessed with many many exceptional tuners. It's hard to pick a "best" tuner out there.

And in all seriousness, there are many tuners in the valley.

My personal car has been tuned by Mark (brocksdad on here) and the results were great.

There also are (in no particular order):

Clark at Goodspeed
Travis at Snail
Jeremy at UMS
Rich at Dynocomp
Phuong of WingzPerformance
KingDustin

There are other people who can tune Subarus but there is no doubt that Clark has tuned more than anyone else and is known worldwide. Clark travels around the US and Canada tuning cars and is who Cobb will refer you to if you ask for an etune.

Clark has tuned my built 2.35L stroker motor with JDM v8 heads and rotated Greddy T67 turbo on UTEC for the last 4 years and it is still running as strong as the first day.

I'm not trashing Clark, as I think he's a good guy and a good tuner. But at times he can be a little hard to get a hold of, and is a little picky when it comes to parts chosen.

+2, i looked at one of his maps I flashed onto some guys car up here, i was not impressed especially considering the money people pay, sorry but you just cant properly tune a car over the net or in 2 hours.

Clark would have a hard time tuning your imaginary Subaru. Can't blame him for being picky.

My wagon was E-tune by clark, it pulls VERY hard, and everyone that has been in it says it pulls very hard for stage 2, I have NO problems with clarks tune, and my car runs great with 0 problems

Clark tuned 2 of my cars, and no problems with either one

I say that because out of the 4 people I know of that tried to get a hold of Clark, 1 got through and got tuned. Another was told he shouldn't have bought the FMIC or the injectors that he did, even though he told Clark he was on a budget, and the other 2 never got their calls returned.

I never said I wasn't impressed with Clark's tunes. I actually stated that I think he's a good tuner.

News

i had my car tuned by Clark at Goodspeed, and i thought it ran great and pulled good for the stock turbo at 18psi or so. over time though, my car developed surging and would'nt hold boost consistently. I went back to Goodspeed and they told me it was the gas changing over for the time of year (which more than likely had some effect on it, i fully trust Joe with my car's life). then, when i got my non-catted DP i had Jeremy (blkscooby) re-tune it. he found that even though they dialed the boost up, they left the stock fuel maps and also some other maps untouched, which we presumed led to the car overboosting, then dropping boost rapidly, and repeating.

in short, Jeremy does good work, VERY thorough. Goodspeed/Clark do good work. Just dont rush or cheap out, get a dyno tune, which you would probably do anyway, im assuming, since you are getting a "Whole new setup" OP. Both of my tunes were street tunes BTW.

Hm... It's always same story with this question.Everybody got different experience with referring good tuner and what kind off tunning they do.All these guys doing good job,but when you see how MARK(brocksdad) doing his job,and how much time he's spend making sure that everything it's good with setup you will know....Only bad thing he's not doing any tuning right now for sure.I'm waiting for him for a while...Anyway I will say +++1 for Mark
