Default Meet ideas. North of Puyallup, south of Seattle

I've never actually been to this place, but what about Steel Lake Park? Says it has 100 parking stalls and 5 picnic areas. Maybe a weekly meeting at a park instead of a random parking lot? For food, they have bbqs there on site, and it is lake front.

Any other ideas?

LOL. I live in Maple Valley, so I'm trying to get some ideas about Fed Way. If people wanted to come to Covington, the Costco here has a ginormous parking lot and it is right off of 18.

Flaming Geyser Park. Beautiful country setting and has some nice roads in the area.

Shouldn't Steve be planning a new FG meet soon?

I talked to him for a min last night, he stopped by the South hill meet when we were all headed off the eat.
Said he was waiting for better weather and he needed to get his BBQ from his parents house. He also moved and is living further away now.
I think if we are just going to meet and hang out, a BBQ isnt necessary.
Altho some pre-bought goodies sounds like a good idea.

I like the idea of a park and bbq idea. I'm from TX so I love some bbq for sure! The only thing is; everyone would have to pitch in some, right? How would you or whoever decides to bbq get the money or would everyone just bring a dish? I'm just saying. haha
