ISC N1 Coilover

So I got these coilovers put on about a week ago on my 2007 WRX sedan. I purchased these from Andrew at AJW Performance, great to work with and great price! There is no review for these yet so I figured I would start one off, I am no pro at doing this so let me know if I am missing anything or you have any questions for me.

Car- 2007 WRX
Mods- Stage 2 power package

Product- ISC N1 Coilover with Street Sport Package. ( you can choose from street comfort, street sport, or track/race.

My thoughts:
They are right, it really does transform the car. I currently have it pretty low, about 1 finger gap in the wheel well, probably 1.5 fingers in the back.

The initial out of the box feel- These things are solid, the contruction seems detailed and beefy/ overbuilt. The anodized metals keep a clean and durable finish for sure.

The 32 way adjustable dampening is super responsive, on the softest settings the car behaves similar to a stock feel, but still far less "boaty" than stock obviously.
On the harder setup the car is really nimble with virtually no body roll, it is amazing!

The height adjustability is easy and straight forward, they claim you can keep stock height, or lower up to 3 inches.

I have not touched the front camber yet, but these coilovers do come fully equipped with them, they offer rear camber for an additional 145 I believe.

Compared to other brands-
I had megans on my 02 WRX and these ISC's feel/ perform much much better. My friends 05 STi has the BC BR's on, which are similiar to these but we both agree that the dampening on the ISC is much more responsive and the overall ride so far is better. They are a little cheaper than the BC's price wise as well which is nice, although retail is 1250.00 it seems that vendors are selling them for about 955.00. These coilovers are made by ISC, they are not produced by a factory which makes a ton of setups and slaps different brands on them, so they truly are unique and original.

These are perfect for:
Someone looking for an affordable coilover but you do not want to have to sacrifice on the features/ specs that many of the 1500.00+ ones have (dampening, camber/caster, height, etc)
If you are looking for adjustability and a unit packed with features then this is the coilover.
If you are looking to get into something a little less main stream ( Like Teins or BC's) this would be a good choice.

They seem to have good customer service since I have emailed them with a couple questions and they have gotten back to me within hours of sending....

As of now I am fully happy with these and would give them a 9/10, I do not know what the perfect coilover feels like, I don't think anyone does it depends what you are looking for, but these are the best I have been in so far as far as being functional, performing well, and being affordable.

Just got new wheels and tires. Im hoping to install these this week and see how they feel. First impressions: strong beefy built coilovers. Impressed with the look of these guys. comet017, thanks for starting this thread and writing a review on these coilovers. I'm going to purchase a set of coilovers within the next 6 months and I was going to go for the BC coilovers eventhough I read a review forum on them that talked about adding something for compensation to a handling issue. I'll see what future reviews are for the ISCs and then decide from there. thanks.

i have been looking to get rid of my strut clunk on my 04 sti and i would also like to do Auto cross. would these be good for auto cross?

Have you noticed any of the creaking or noise issues common with the BC's? I am trying to choose between the 2 right now, and I am having a hard time. Also does anyone know of plans for rear extenders or?

These are great for auto X, and it what we are using for our legacy gt and wrx for track and auto x applications. We have your fitment in stock!

as long as you have the preload set right you will have no issues, I have not noticed any odd noises...

ajw should be able to answer the "how long can you go" question.
as far as longevity they have been out overseas for a long time and do not have any issues.
I wouldn't say BC racing has longevity issues, we have customers using them for over 4 years. as far as the ISC's i feel this brand will fully take advantage of those who need coilovers ASAP (like when bc's are sold out...which happens atleast once a month) or is a little bit more budget friendly offering a balance between performance and price compared to everything else on the market. they are a high quality affordable setup, all of our customers are currently enjoying these and we will tell them to chime in on this thread. Afterall you don't want to hear it from us vendors, but you guys, the ones who are using them

Drop looks good. I want some more feedback though. Do they offer rebuilds. Cuz BC does lifetimes.

I believe BC Racing is 1 year warranty, then after that you can get replacements for 95.00 a side.

Pretty much same deal with ISC, 1 year warranty, then after that all parts replaced at trade cost, depending on what you need for the rebuild may be 15.00, maybe be 45.00, or a whole side brand new for 90.00....
Rebuilds and warranty work are all done at their North American facility in Massachusetts, so you have minimal down time!
