Had these on my 09 Wrx and they were okay but something was weird about my setup but I'd rather not get into all of that... Lol

Now on the new set from import image my 12 Wrx rides great and hugs the corners. Had them on the car for about 6 months now. No clunks or anything and no complaints. I beleive these are 8k all around but I'm not sure. Bought them new off of my buddy Joey that bought em from import image but never got around to installing them so in not sure if I still have a warranty or not? Lol anyways here's some pics

Looking for some help/advice.
I've had the ISC n1's on my car for almost a year now and I've loved them, the ride well, not too much noise, corner great. little bounce but I got used to it, plus the roads in RI are junk.

I was recently riding with a friend and he was complaining on the bounciness of the ride and was continuing to say that it shouldn't ride the way it does. Can people post up some of their specs on what the have the coilovers set to? Listing things such as preload and dampening.

Thanks

I set my preload exactly as AJW, ISC, and others have described. 5mm!

I have tried changing my rebound settings from 4 all the way up to 26. I'm at my wits end with these damn coilovers. I understand that they are going to ride a bit stiffer than stock springs... I get it. But it shouldn't feel like my struts are going to come through my towers when I hit bumps. While driving south on I-95, I can't get the oscillations to stop! It has actually become so bad that my dog gets motion sickness...

I'm about at the point where ISC is going to either buy these pieces of garbage back from me, or pay for my interior cleaning bill.

Ive had my ISCs on my 09 hatch for about 5 months now. I have nothing but great things to say about them!!

As far as adjustments go, preload was set to factory specs, like 175mm I think. I just started in the middle damping-wise and played around with it till the ride felt great to me. I love the adjustability of them!! These really transformed my car and feel awesome threw the turns as well as just cruising to work on the highway. Thanks to all the guys at AJW Performance for hooking me up with a great set of coilovers!!

Sorry but bear with me while I try to figure out the app.

See I had great reviews for the way it rode as well, then people started riding with me and complaining. the ones that weren't into cars I kinda expected the reaction. But the ride grew onto me. but no i have people who have more experience than me saying something is defiantly wrong. I had AJW install mine and they set all dampening to middle and did the recommended preload

Hello my friend, I would be happy to go for a drive in it to double check. Also feel free to play with that dampening, we set it in the middle just to allow customers to fine tune it to their likings. My forester xt is 5 from soft all around, 3mm of preload.

I messed around with the dampening a bit, but I might need to fiddle around some more. I'll let you guys know how it goes.

Honestly... ****ing terrible. The spring rates are too high for the struts, right out of the box. The rates are too high for a street car... Period.

The spring rates are industry standard for these cars, and valved accordingly.
8/6 comfort, 8/6 street sport, 10/8 track race

Hardest street sport setting is softest track race setting.
If there is ride quality trouble:
A) they are not set up right- a setting is incorrect
B) something is wrong- call and get customer support
C) you should not have coilovers on your car- not for you

Between he ride quality, warranty and price point these are a good choice over people considering a Megan or BC BR from what we have seen over the years.

I daily drove my 02 WRX with the ISC N1 coilovers for 3 years. As a sales guy, I drive upwards of 1000 miles per week. In boston, around boston, around RI, NH, CT, Vt, you get the point. These rode really comfortable for me. My car was low on some 17x9 wheels with 245/40/17 tires.

I had them at 16 from soft and 18 from soft in the rear. Preload was actually about "0" on my car.

As far as corrosion, I clean them twice a year and antiseize them. If you take care of your belongings in our lovely New England weather you will be fine.

So the comfort and street sport have the same spring rates? Whats the difference between the two?
