Hi All,

So Ive had the ISC coils on my car for about three months strong now and im still loving them. At first I was running a high high dampening to be able to corner like no body else on the road and found that to be too stiff for daily driving purposes, so i added some Perrin sways to stiffen her up. Incredible difference. Ive driven upwards of 12,000 miles (I drive a lot) with the coils on and havent had any issues at all with the function of the coilovers, really any problems at all with ISC. I talked to the guys at ISC when i installed them to figure out dampening and they were great to work with.

Thanks again guys.

I will post in another couple weeks or a month to keep everyone updated.

Keep in mind the national average of how many miles people drive in a year (15,000miles)

Those of you with isc n1's that switched from springs/struts: How comfortable would you say the coilovers are? I drive on pretty ****ty roads and am deciding whether or not I want to purchase these.

Probably should get the street series (lowest spring rate). I have the street sport (medium spring rate) and they get super bumpy sometimes. The dampening helps a lot though

The street comforts are the lowest spring rate/ valving.
Street comfort, street sport, then track/race (highest).
For daily driving street comfort is very plush but still gives you great cornering and dampening control like ac_dc45 said.

I just had a really productive talk with Andrew from AJW. I can't seem to get the Baja dialed in on my own. I'm headed up to his shop on the 25th. I'm hoping that he's correct & we just need to play with the pre-load and damping to get it set up right.
How's this for customer service, IF it's a matter of needing to swap springs or even switching out completely to the comfort kit.... He's going to take them back under the warranty (I plan to take care of any re-stocking/shipping issues)
This company went the extra mile & then some for me. Ordered a Legacy kit that they knew was going on a Baja with a drastically different stock ride height........ PLUS agreed not to stick me with it if it didn't work.
Big time props & sincere thanks to AJW. Customer service like this is unheard of these days!

I'm really getting tired of the spring bind noise. I feel like ISC should include the thrust bearing kit with all their coilovers and not charge an extra fee for it....

We do not offer them with every klt because most people do not have a use for the thrust bearing kits, although the thrust bearing kits do quiet things down like they do on other coilover kits that offer them their main purpose is for better steering response. If you are getting some noise your top nut may be to tight, or your preload setting may be causing the springs to be a bit vocal. Send our customer support an email if you have any questions.

I habe been having some nasty noises from my front springs also. I loosened the nuts up and still no change. At the price I paid for the kit I am no complaining too much but I do wish the thrust bearings were included or part of a free update. You guys made mention of the spring preload being an issue? Could you give me a little more info on that? Thanks.

I recently ordered a set of these coilovers through Goodspeed Performance and just dropped them off to a body shop for installation. Upon initial inspection, the head mechanic at Goodspeed said they were the nicest coilovers he had ever seen in that price range. I can't wait until my new Zerosports front bumper and sideskirts and APR front wind splitter and rear diffuser are installed so I can try these out! I will post pics when the work is complete.

Glad to see most of you enjoying your coilovers! They are a great upgrade for the Suby's.

The thrust bearings are finally in stockThey quiet things down, and give even a better steering feel. Although going with aftermarket springs or coilovers often increases noise, these thrust kits help reduce that a great deal...
Many coilovers both budget minded and even 3,000.00+ setups do not comes with thrust kits, we are keeping these optional to keep costs down for you all. Some people get no noise at all, or it doesnt bother them. If we ran thrust bearings on EVERY unit the price per unit would go up, which some people wouldn't be happy about. Its hard to please everyone but for those of you who purchase the coilovers before the kits were offered and you would like one, PM us and we will work with you the best we can. Unlike many other brands we stand behind our customer service by having a full USA facility where we do ALL rebuilds, service and customer support.
