Something going on in El Cajon or Santee?

Hey, this post is mostly for the San Diego guys-
Was there some kind of race action going on in Santee or El Cajon today? In a matter of a 5 mile drive today I saw Kartboy, 2 fully race prepped RX-7's in full dress, and an I.T. Acura NSX driving on the open road. I'm pretty sure none of those cars are street legal (sorry Kartboy), so I figured something must be going on. If anybody can shed some light I'd appreciate it!
