SA- anyone want to get together to do a spring install?

Hey guys kind of new to the Subaru scene down here and getting some springs in tomorrow. Just thought some of you guys might want to schedule a day to do a spring install. We could get some brew and pizza going. If anyone here has a good garage we could do it there. I'm going up to Dallas this weekend so maybe sometime within the next couple of weeks. Just drawing up some interest and checking everyones schedule.

Yeah coming from Arlington with my protege5 we used to get together almost every other weekend and do some sort of install. I know how to do a spring install, one time we got together with about 6 other guys and did 3 different car suspensions in about 45 mins. Just thought there might be some guys that were down to get together and bullsheet around and put another install under thier belt.

Hey that may not be such a bad idea. The only problem is that I'm going up to visit family so I don't know how they will feel about me spending one of the days doing an install.

homeboy and i did it with some small C clamps to uncompress the spring... i know not very smart but we did it

Yeah I was going to go down and rent a clamp but if some happen to have one that would have been fine too.

Ok cool I also just got a pm from djburn1200 and he said he was able to help too so maybe we could both the installs. I need to do new discs and pads as well and I might be getting an exhaust this weekend too, ahhhhk to many things to buy.

ok cool guys, hey i know this might be to quick but I thought I give it a shot. I was supposed to drive up to arlington tonight(sunday) but i got called into work. So I have 2 days off(monday and tuesday) so if anyone is open or down to do the install that would be great. If not thats cool I'll just wait a couple weeks till I know when I have another day off. Let me know, thanks.

Well that sounds good, what days are you guys open. As far as my schedule this weekend I get off around 5 fri, sat, sun. Then I'm off Monday. See if this works for you guys. I just shan't to make sure on the day so I don't rent another spring compressor and not use it.

That's because you are in Austin.. lots of antisocial subies there. Lately, I have only seen them through posts in TXIC.

Matt (Ranastu) may be busy Saturday (starting to build a deck) but possibly free Friday or Sunday.. will have to check with Kiff about his schedule. We have plenty of tools so, you should just need to drive over (We all live a little north of Seaworld).

yah just want to say thanks to kiff and jarod, they helped me out a lot. they had everything and made it a smooth install. thnks again guys. will definately do something again with them.
