Did you intentionally misspell all those words, or are you just such an idiot that you can't spell them correctly?

Your post does not make me want to come to this event, OP.

It makes me sad. Sad for the Subaru community.

Noo WAY I will come out to watch dirty imports smoke tires around my favorite track.

However I will be there the weekend before for the MITTY! Historic races FTW!

However, I'm not going to tell you where we park because judging from the grammar and spelling in your post you are not the type of person I would enjoy hanging out with at the racetrack.

well since we're not suppose to use dirty language,i.e.foul language,, or somethng like that in the guide lines it reads.. so what ever, i was trying to get this event out so evybdy can enjoy it.. n btw i did spell track* wrong my bad on that.. other than that i use short hand bc its faster and i can read it just fine..nor did i use all the correct spelling such as facin( instead of facing) jeeze what are we in highschool? yall are being judgemental and too caught up in the words and not looking at what the real issue is.. ROAD ATL, if u dont like the way i spell or type dont read it. and in all retrospectrum, im gonna have way to much fun(bc of my bday) i could care less if u wanna park beside me nor come cook out with us.. so hey hope u can make it anyways and not to be such a dick

n btw all the subie ppl i know are way nicer than all of u are being normally subie ppl will give a wave or what ever if we pass each other, yall would prbly flick off the other subaru..

What does ~~ mean?

Actually, I'll be at VIR, you know, actually racing (since this is the motorsports forum, rather then OT, after all) rather then "living it up", but thanks for your concern.

I really think you should try this in OT. You should have quite a few "Subaru Peeps" there that will appreciate this information.

Drifting isn't a motorsport actually. It's figure skating with cars.

Figure skating with cars?

I honestly question the point of 'drift competitions' for the same reason as you, the judging isn't based on performance and is subjective. However, unlike you, I have respect for anyone that is willing to grab the wheel and fight a car for any reason. I've thrown around my RX-7 at a drift day and I can't say I've had more fun in a car than with the freedom to do anything you want on an open space. Then again I guess I just love driving.

I know a local guy who is a privateer in the 'formula D' professional class and he works so hard, builds and tunes his own car... well Over 350whp and personalized suspension alignment just for handling while oversteering over 160km/h or 100mph for you guys down south... If that is figure skating then go buy me some fu$%^ing skates. That is the epitomy of motorsports, whether or not the judging and competition aspect is flawed.

Also, if drifting wasn't a motorsport, why are so many performance companies paying attention and putting out products for that industry? I figured since I might be able to drop a few coherent sentences in this thread I would take up the task of defending drifting here.

Here is a video of what I think of when I imagine drifting. Not getting more smoke then the other guy, not having a crazier paintjob and more flashing lights, not doing what a judge mandates will score higher points. Just pushing the limits of what you and your car are capable of.

This is a video of Ebisu Circuit the 'soul of drift'. First shows the driver entering a corner way past 90 degree's of angle (steering angle increased significantly, and then driving at the limit of the new increased steering angles availiable grip) And the second shows an idea of what the annual 'drift matsuri' (drift festivals) would depict. This is when the locals all gather to drift day and night on track at ebisu circuit. There are no figure skates in sight here.

Also more availiable here -
