Default Road Atlanta Apr30-May2: The Mitty!

http://classicmotorsports.net/events/mitty-2010/

Anyone else heading down for the Mitty? For anyone that doesn't know, it's a historic sportscar racing event with plenty of other "sideshow" activities throughout the weekend. Mazda is a big sponsor, and I know this is a Subaru board and all, but there seem to be a lot of Miata owners here too.... so take your Mazda keys for access to the Mazda hospitality tent if you're going.

The main events of the weekend will be historic races.... Formula 5000, various vintage small bore cars, vintage stock cars, and vintage motorcycles. I'm pretty sure there's also an MX-5 Cup race going on at some point during the weekend.

Beyond that, there's a free AutoX event on Saturday to anyone that wants to drive in a Kumho equipped Mazda MX-5. Then Sunday, there will be ridealongs in a Lotus Evora on the same AutoX track. Throughout the weekend there will be various "parade lap" sessions to drive your own car on the track, a "BRE Tribute" car show, and the Concours d'LeMons car show

Tickets are $35 for a 3 day pass in advance

Let me see if I can write this like the drifting post so I can get some views.

Yo dawg, there's gonna be an off the hizzle festivizzle down in Brasselton on April 30-May 2nd. We's gonna be chilling and hanging and all that other stuff that brodawgs do, hopefully in flat billed caps. They gonna be all like racing old cars and stuff and it's gonna be hella tight mad slammed YO! If you don't wanna just watch the badacedness on the track, you can sign up to driftors a Mazda MX-5 on the AutoX track on Saturday or ride in a Lotus on Sunday. COLIN CHAPMAN REPRESENT, SON!!!!!!

So who all gonna head down to the ATL and get all up in that bizznitch to watch those old fogeys in their old cars?!?!

How's that?

haha, really funny, but i sounded nothing like that. i was just doing a "short hand" style of typing and plus i was really excited about the FD event when i wrote about it at 2am-ish.. so yea my eyes and mind were a little tired from working all day.

cant u learn to just drop it? besides when u sound like this, then u sound like a non-educated person of the streets.short hand is completely and utterly different.

n btw did u not see the newbie status<<?. instead of degrading me, why not help a new person out and show me how to correctly post an event?

thanks,flat4

I'm just picking on you, man Obviously I don't know how to correctly post an event, either, seeing as how I had zero responses and 12 views... so I was hoping I could learn from you

And for the record, typing in SMS "short hand" makes you sound pretty retarded too.
