Default Fuel Cut in 4th around 5000rpm.

Did search but didint fine a solution.
So, here is the problem.
my car was protuned last winter. back then it was running perfectly fine.
but two weeks ago i started notice, almost every time i pull in 4th gear, it hits fuel cut around 5000rpm(sometimes 4500rpm, sometime 5500rpm).
i did data log and same thing happend around 5500rpm.
1th, 2th and 3th gear is fine. didnt try 5th and 6th.
i couldnt go back the the tuner because of my VISA issue. So i have to find a way to fix it myself.
Anyone had the same problem before?
i can send you the log and map if you PM me your email.
Thanks.

Alex

Just post your log in here... [code] [code] (with a / before the second code like all other html codes).

You say something happened, but what was it? When was the last time you cleaned your MAF? Air filter? What kind of fuel you running? What kind of pressure you pushing? what kind of turbo you have?

It cold be heatsoak issues if you are running alot of boost on the stock snail, and it is just noticeable now because of the warm temperatures.

Oh yea, and define fuel cut. Are you SURE it is fuel cut, or possibly just hesitation? that should have been my first question.

if that's around your peak boost, i'd check the max wastegate duty cycle table.

Open your ROM, look at the boost limit (fuel cut) and compare that to the max boost you're getting in your log. If they're close, you found your problem.

Then the question is whether you should raise the boost limit or lower the WGDC to keep from hitting the limit. That's a question for your tuner. Your tuner can do all of this by email, by the way. You don't have to physically take the car to the tuner to fix this.
