Default waste gate malfunction help!

The code of p0244 ( waste gate solinoid malfunction) keeps coming up. How do I fix this and how much will it cost me?

replace it with a GrimmSpeed EBCS and get a tune... better performance and problem solved!

I'm only hitting 11.5psi with a stage 2 tune ( should be hitting 15.2) and if i drive it hard the check engine light comes on and the code is po244 which is waste gate solenoid malfunction

Your car wants (and is capable) of a few more psi boost... the map you are using is set at a peak boost level but the parameters are most likely somehow allowing boost and wastegate action to produce a bit more than its supposed to... check out how I fixed mine

You probably have a faulty solenoid or the wastegate could be stuck or not functioning properly. Can you post a datalog so we can see what is going on. Log WGDC, boost, rpm, throttle position etc. Let's take a look at what is happening.
