Today I finished taping the car for 4 coats of High build PPG primer.
I decided to paint the driver's fender apart because of the color change. Came out great.

mixing primer and hardener

Monday will be primer sanding, finishing touches to get rid of imperfections , then primer again, sanding again.

I'm now debating if I shoot the paint in my garage or at my friend's body shop.
I'd like to do it in the garage but in afraid of the flammable fumes...

a friend of mine brought is new ride for rear badge removal
Can't wait to see what is gonna be the fastest? R32 or WRX?
will have a stage 1 remap.
he has a remap also.

WRX is by far faster than a R32. Unless the R is turbo.

really? I drove the R and and it is fast. around 250hp it only has a chip.
The advantage I will have is the experienced driver:

A chip on a NA R32 is maybe a gain of 6 to 12 BHP on a good day. I love the R32, as well as my GTI. But I would give my car up for a stock WRX in a heart beat. My room mate has a stock WRX wagon that gives me a run for my money, even when drivers are swapped. VWs have a good amount of low end torque, so they often feel faster than they are

I'm still interested to see the results!

My dad is a fire fighter (was career and volunteer) but now just career since he retired from the career fire department.

Everyone asks why I never went that career path.. Just wasn't my thing I guess.
