Have a Nice Day? Clutch suggestions for my setup?

I got a 04 sti with minimal mods. Full racing exhaust, reflash ecu, and just some weight reduction. I want to get an upgraded clutch and flywheel but I don't want it to be pricey and I need it to last. I normally don't drive it hard, but there are occasions where I will =). I was thinking maybe a exedy stage 1, and a lighter flywheel..does anyone else have any better suggestions in mind? currently I have gone through two oem clutches within 32,XXX miles.

How often do you track the car? 32k miles is quick to burn through 2 OEM clutches with a basic stage 2 setup. I don't imagine a more expensive clutch will last any longer... if you track the car often, I would just write it off as the cost of doing business. If you don't track the car often, I'd stick to OEM and try to be easier on the clutch.

I don't track it as much as I used to, but I do want something besides oem, I want to feel a difference hopefully with an upgraded clutch. I decided to not go with the flywheel since I mainly drag my car, so now I just need to know what clutch I want.

Aftermarket clutches will produce more chatter and engage more harshly than the OEM clutch. An OEM clutch shouldn't have any trouble holding stage 2 power, and frankly, if you're burning through clutches at the rate of 1 every 16k miles and don't spend a lot of time at the track, an aftermarket clutch is probably the opposite of what you want. Sorry if that's not the answer you're after.

Best money spent is what South Bend offers, stock clutch with heavier sprung pressure plate. No less than a 13lb flywheel

Base your clutch purchase off a future mods. Clutches aren't rated in stages, horsepower or whats best. Look at torque ratings!
