Default 2002 WRX FXT 2.5L, 18G, boost/rev issues

Okay, I just picked up a 2002 wrx with a 2.5L FXT engine, an 18G and a 6mt. Its running a FMIC, stock BOV, 810cc inj, tested by RC, 255lph fp, CAI, borla header, bellmouth DP and cobb cat back. It was tuned at at a local shop and put down 284ish AWHP. A stock wrx puts down 150ish... fyi.

The issues, first and second gear only make 7ish and 11ish PSI respectively, while 3rd and 4th make 20-22psi. It also seems to want to hesitate slightly in the first couple of gears at lower RPN, I mean it just doest seem eager to rev.

When its cold first thing in the morning is has a rough idle, (very slight) though nothing to crazy ( I assume its the 810cc inj). Though first and second gear the car just doesn't want to rev well or make much power, while 3rd feels better but still not what I would expect for a car with this much claimed power.

I have talked to shop where is was tuned and plan on taking the car in and having them look it over.

I was just curious what people thought it might be.

Thanks all!!

hmmm I don't know if that was done or not.... I am going to have the car looked at by the shop that tuned it.

I have had it mentioned that it may be a exhaust leak, and maybe a BPV issue... we'll see.

Booze fueled :)

Sounds like the tune, 16bit ecu's don't have the ability to tune WGDC per gear fyi.

Bring it in and talk to the original tuner to trouble shoot or a new tuner for a re-tune. While WGDC might not be adjusted there are still many things to make your car run way better!
