Cool. I picked up a set of coilovers similar to yours for the STI. Just need some free time to do the install.

TD,
This "new" track car of yours sounds interesting.

Thanks for the heads up on these events. If I have a car ready by then it could be fun to go back to VIR. Last time I was down there was when my wheel bearings disintegrated 3 or 4 years ago.

I will probably be there for Grand East...possibly Thurs/Fri too depending on work. It looks like those'll be my first events this season.

I remember those bearing balls just falling out of the bearing races onto the ground.

I actually have two new track cars, a slow, cheap racecar (not street legal obviously) and a nice one with a roll bar that is street legal.

I won't be there unfortunately, but I'll be at the shorter 3 day enduru with the SVTOA club on 28 May.

I'm towing my car down. My buddy's probably going to drive my old caged civic down. Sucks to be him.

I got a newer WRX wagon. It's good for carrying gear, mountainbiking, snowy roads, etc, but will be staying on the street. I'm working to get my Miata HPDE-ready. I've got the seat bolted to the floor and have a hard top, but have to put in a roll bar.

Ditto. Doing the full 4 days would be pretty sweet, but I'm not sure I'm ready to subject any of my cars to 4 straight days when I'm ~4hr from home. Hell, the Subaru didn't even make it 2 straight days a couple weeks ago. (Which means that the CTS-V will be doing the Grand East, methinks, because I don't think I'm going to bother fixing the Subie's head gaskets.)

Hard Dog M2 (or M1 depending on car year) Hard Core Hard Top roll bar.

My cage builder is back logged so it will be a tight squeeze to get my DE car ready but I am still hoping to have it for the June VIR event.

Struggling to get it ready so we can do a shakdown day at the TrackDaze event next weekend.

We still need to get the NASCAR door bars, an "X" brace on the rear supports, a diagonal in the roof section.

True but we did finish the cage today. Now we need.......brakes that actually work.

It is starting to look a little bit like a race car:

Harness bar is too low, we have to redo it and move it up.

I can't really see over the dashbar so it will be a hoot to drive.
