sounds quite tasty!

I run Hondata on my turbo S2000 and i must say, there is NOTHING better than an OBD-II compliant "stand alone" system. I have had this car inspected in 2 different states without changing a thing, including the tune.

I commend you on making something that seems to be similar, as it is not often that a manufacturer will take the extra steps to make it OBDII compliant.

I would have to check the ECU pin-out on the EURO vehicles. As long as there were no changes. The unit will work with them as well.

Thank you and I agree with 100%

It is no fun having a high horsepower daily driver if it is not OBDII compliant.

Is this EMS "OBDII compliant" when it is piggybacked on top of the stock ECU, or are you saying that without the stock ECU in the car at all and this one in place, the OBDII port works and all that stuff? In other words, is it the EMS system that generates the trouble codes?

Reason why I ask is that if you piggyback any standalone ECU on top of the stocker, they are "OBDII compliant" also...

That's the trick many with the HKS FCon ECU use, as well as some with the AEM EMS, UTEC, etc. etc.. Have the stock ECU control the boring stuff, and have the EMS control fueling and timing.

Just trying to see if this one does things differently..

The PRO-COM comes with a plug-n-play harness that runs parallel to the factory ECU. We have the factory ECU control all of the OBDII information.
On the 2008-2010 STi, this becomes very tricky due to the canbus.
