Default ATTN Tuners, please help!!! built motor/35r tunning issues

this is gonna prolly be a long post, im apologizing early..lol ill try to tell the whole story as brief as i can with still being thuro...i can get some data logs if anyone wants to see them...i finally got my motor in and back together and finally breaking it after over a yr now... i did all the work myself so im hoping i did a good job(other than the machine work)

anyway, my old setup on stock motor was a fpgreen setup..im now running a rotated 35r and built motor.. THE ONLY CHANGES FROM MY OLD MAP TO NOW IS THE turbo kit, motor(block only) ,and perrin v1 fuel rails and a FPR.and a xpipe in my manifold .. same injectors, same big maf...so i was told my map woould be fairly ok,to try and see if the motor is ok... just prolly rich which it is..especially on a easy break in, staying outta boost 99% of the time..
agile did my old tune and i live pretty far away and didnt want to haul it down for a break in tune and then come back after break in...

heres the issues now.. its rich...really rich, at stock idle (under 1k, i think it was like 700 right?) everytime i come to a stop without downshifting running the car down to a stop it would shut off, wideband goes completely off the gauge rich when i leave off the gas.. i turned the idle up and this solved this problem..about 90% of the time, itll stall 1 outta 10-15 stops now.. cruising around its usally around 15.5 afr and egts are 12-1400 cruising ,is that normal? i didnt have the egt before the build..

thats the least of my issues, after 250 miles i went to start it yesterday and it was bad, scared the **** outta me bad, it wouldnt idle at all and was misfireing, it sounded like it was running on 2 cylinders idling at 100-200 and bouncing from that to ZERO wideband said 10.0 afr and got CEL and cruise blinking misfire code and pffffee..i shut it off imidiately when it happened and when i cleared the codes, restarted it i held the gas alittle like 2k for 5 seconds and it straightened out.. what the hell caused that?? seemed fine for about 20 miles later...
then driving it around i was just cruising 40-50 mph i believe 6th gear and i might have hit 1 or 2 psi and it started acting crazy again, definatly misfired afr gauge was reading 10.0 both times it did it cruising and the 1 time it did it idleing. i IMIDIATLY left off when it did it both times but still read 10.0 on the wideband then went pig rich after it quit like 18 or higher..while i was cruising it went from the 15.0 straight to 10.0 stumbled lost all power spit and spuddered and the CEL came on..same codes

would the plugs be fouling out from being so rich??? i attempted to data log a few days ago to see what was up, first time doing it so i have a really long log that i cut down..
if anyone wants to see them, if it will help let me know, i dont know how to post pics/logs i can email it tho..

also, im running small spring in my gate at 6 psi which i hit when i did the log...of the 250 miles, it saw boost very very little, once for the log the 6 psi and 1 -3 psi by accident a few times...

i was told i need to break the motor in before i can tune it, but i see other guys that have a built motor and go straight to the dyno imidiately..

does this all sound like a tuning issue or worse?? i was thinking maybe a timing issue..im gonna double check the belt to see if i maybe was off a tooth, i searched other peoples misfireing problems and saw that was the culprit on another guys... this was my first time putting a timing belt on a suby

i also retarded the timing a few degrees on the AP, figured it would help when i raised the idle...

also what base FP should i be running..ik think i have it right around 43-44, as soon as i touch the gas it goes up to around 45 tho...

You should have gone straight to a tuner and had a base map made up with conservative numbers to give you something to drive around with. You should break in the motor before getting an actual tune, but driving around like you are isn't exactly good for your car.

The reason you're seeing such rich AFR's is the fuel is not igniting in the cylinders in that are misfiring, or in this case not firing. Running as pig rich as you say it is will foul out the plugs, so I suggest you change those out first. Do double check the belt for skipped teeth, but if this is an intermittent problem, it's likely not the timing belt.

Without reading your entire post, the things that jumped right out at me were your fuel mods and that you are running very rich. This is to be expected as you have changed your base fuel pressure. The map you had before was for a different base fuel pressure, even if the injectors are the same.

My guess is you are getting wicked rich misfires! Is this an adjustable FPR or a rising rate unit?

You probably don't want to run this map too much if it is this rich since you might start getting cylinder wash, especially if you are not driving a whole lot. Have you checked your oil for fuel content?

Get a tune, ASAP! You need to calibrate that new fuel system. Also, check for boost leaks etc.

last code was something about rich bank 1 and it idles VERY rough when i start it most of the time...i havent driven it in days now...the weird thing is is i put almost 200 miles on it with ZERO problems, it idled smooth and drove great other than the stalling coming to a stop every oonce in awhile...

...its definatly a intermited problem, 90% of the time driving it doesnt do it, in fact since it did it the very first time ive only drove maybe 15 miles and its done it 1 or 2 times driving, mostly just at initial start up now is the problem, not throwing anymore codes but still doing it, if i hold the gas down a hair as soon as i start it and run the idle up to 3k for a few secs its totally fine...

i know i need a tune, and am getting one asap just for the rest of the break in, its not being drivin anymore, i drove it once after the initial problem and 1 more to my working garage which is about 8 miles away...

garuntee the plugs are shot...i was assuming that but doesnt anything else sound wrong??

what is the stock base FP? should i try and go alittle lower? my base now is like i said earlier around 44-45ish,, yes its adjustable..

can anyone explain why it ran great for 200 then started??? weird to me...i even cranked 6psi(wide open gate pressure,i put a small spring in for break in) a few times..felt good...

Default fixed it

went up and looked over everything and found after feeling luckily the coupler that i have from turbo to ic pipe i have it stretched to fit untill the new one comes in, wqell it slipped off on the very bottom and there was a gap just at the bottom about the width of a dime maybe 2...just enough for a SEVERE leak..fixed it and it idles and drives great..just still rich like the first 200 miles... that leak was causeing it to go lean, not rich, but whats weird at cruising speed under no boost 100% of the time, it ran fine...thats unreal..idle is where the real issue was and start up..

check to make sure you didnt install the fpr back or have it set at too high of a psi and that you have good vacuum to it

anyone confirm what base FP i should run? also is it normal to raise as soon as i hit the gas? i thought it raised after boost... i does rise in boost 1:1, but when im cruising, i let off the gas it drops alittle and when i hit the gas still in alittle vacuum like -5ish it goes up to about 45...i have a gauge on the pillar..

normal? i was told the base fp should be 43ish..right?

im gonna drop it alittle and see if it runs better..
