Angry Wheels stolen - what wheels are these?

Hope someone can help

Some stole my summer wheels.

I know what the tires are (were), but I need to figure out what the wheels are (were) so I have something to go on for insurance.

Took me a few hours to paint the one (hand sanding, lots of corners). I was waiting for my sandblasting hood to show up in the mail before I did the others.

I live in a tiny *** town near the dead end of a street. Who the would want these.

grrr. so very mad. The tires had lots of tread left The painted wheel was looking good.

Watch out for someone selling used:
Dunlop SP Sport Maxx, 225/45ZR17 94Y XL

Any idea on the wheel brand? I have no clue. They were on the car when I bought it.

Tiny town, I'd expect the law enforcement to have some ideas.

Yeah. The cop was surprised to say the least. He said "someone doesn't just drive down xxxx street looking for a set of wheels. They've had to have a reason to go down it" Basically he thinks someone local stole it.

Population in my town is about 3000. One more block and the street turns into a u-turn. The only thing my direction is houses or dead-end streets. (I don't actually live in Keokuk, just close to it - Hamilton, IL)

Thank you. I was totally confused. "If you know where they are, why don't you tell law enforcement?"

Hopefully the insurance will make it feel that way. I was painting them because I thought they were ugly.

Still, someone came on to my property and took something that I was working on. I'm loosing a good chunk of change here. Mod budget is going down...

Did they leave you on cinder blocks? I remember a few years ago someone stole some wheels from a member and then tried to sell them on nasioc a few days later. His FS thread was right under the Help Stolen thread and he was tracked and arrested through nasioc dealings. Idiots...

I'd check ebay and your local craigslist and see if they pop up. GL, damn farkin thieves!!!

Just tell insurance they were Advan/Rota/Enkei's

I have my winter tires on the car so I'm not on cinder blocks.

I have been looking at ebay for the tires, but with no luck. Wheels are harder to look for since there's no mark of the brand (probably was on the center caps). At the very least, no one close to were I live is selling a set.

I'll probably buy a new set of tires but not wheels. I'll buy some cheap wheels when winter rolls around.
Maybe I'll go for some revenge in the winter. Leave my alloys outside. If someone picks one up, sirens and camera's start going off. That we be a service to society.

Stupid mother ******.

What a pain in the ass.

NO cameras. Just hook them up to 220V. Oh, I guess the wire fell on the wheels...

Sorry for your loss and you can tell how much I like thieves...

On the bright side you should be able to pick up some stock wheels cheap. The larger bolt circle helps you here.

Yup. I think the thieves did you a favor as those wheels are pretty ugly.

You can find BBS in 114.3x5 very cheap. I picked up a decently clean set of 2007's with tires and center caps for $400 the other day.
