Default 2010 WRX - first little shoot

First photoshoot with the car since I've only had her about 7 weeks. I'm no expert photographer, but I tried to pick a good location. Let me know what you think!

Mods:

18x8.5" Rota Grids +44 on 225/40/18 tires (switching to 235/40 next)
Epic Engineering lowering springs (about a 1" drop)
OEM STi front lip spoiler
OEM Sport Grille
De-badged trunk

Wow. I'm not usually a fan of this body style but this looks good. Nice background too.

Paint that chrome and get some exhaust and I'd say it's perfect. How do you like the springs, any auto-x in them?

By little did you mean the car was going to be little in all the shots??? Haha just playing, but seriously, get closer.

Thanks for the comments! Yeah I really like the buildings so I wanted to get a lot of those in. The next set of pictures I take are going to be closer since they will be taken in a different setting, and will be more focused on the car instead of what's in the background.

Epic_Beck - The springs are great. Perfect drop for me, and not overly stiff. Got rid of a lot of the body roll as well. If I had to do it over again, I would get the same springs.

Next mods are going to be painting the chrome strip on the trunk black, and getting a Megan catback.

Looking good man. Those springs are tempting me!

Where was this shot? In CT somewhere?

Thanks for the comments! Yes, this was shot in Fairfield Hills. I shot them the way I did because I've wanted to photograph these buildings for a long time, but the next set of pics won't focus on the background, the focus will be on the car.

WRBear - the springs are great. If I were to do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing.

That was so funny. As soon as I saw the buildings I said it must be Connecticut. I was right. My family is from there. I always wanted to take pic's of those buildings also. Very nice! I do want to see close-ups of your car btw.

No, unfortunately they are chrome. I'll be painting it flat black some time this summer to match the rear diffuser.

I'm tellin' ya man. A lot of people hate on the 08+ WRXs until they see modded ones. I'll admit they're not the best looking car stock, but do the usual suspension, wheels/tires, front lip and they look pretty damn good!
