Can McLaren top the charts like they did in testing???

These picks are so damn hard every week! I have the Mc's up front but have a feeling Vettel will be up there... Button might need to drop 1 or two... I don't know...

L.Hamilton;
J.Button;
S.Vettel;
N.Rosberg;
F.Alonso;
F.Massa;
M.Webber;
R.Kubica;
M.Schumacher;
A.Sutil

These are subject to change...

I know... And you can't count Rosberg out... It's only a matter of time for him...

Unless they turn the car into something that only Schumacher can drive.

I can't see anything other than a straight fight for Hammy and Alonso, unless it's so hot that tires become an issue, then Button could sneak into the mix. Red Bull's probably worn out their advantage, knowing Newey, any upgrade could be just the opposite.

They were fine last year with the upgrades. They developed better than the rest of the teams, especially considering all the problems they had with the double diffuser and their pull rod suspension. I think with a dry race they should continue to do well, I'd be surprised if at least one red bull isn't on the podium. Hamilton will kill his tires in 10 laps and then complain about it being impossible, and Alonso will probably get stuck behind Massa again.

Last year they had Geoff Willis to temper Adrian Newey (This has to be the last place I haven't mentioned this) and when they let Willis go just before Spa, that was when Red Bull had their dip that they didn't recover from until Suzuka, which probably cost The Red Bull Boys a shot at the title.

Their form was failing because of their problems with engines and not running much in practice. From Spa to just before Suzuka, they were running at tracks which weren't going to be good for Renault powered cars also. They've been great this year, when its dry.

They should have owned Spa, but they regressed, going with the narrow nose which hampered the airflow over the car.

Why would Merc do that? That makes no sense, whatsoever. Merc have stated the longer wheel base is to cure the weight distribution error they made with the W01. The 'B-spec' car is going to suit both drivers.

It was twittered today that it is wet and cold in Barcelona! Looks like it may be another wet/mixed race!

Its Tuesday, race is Sunday, and it rains like 5 days a year in Spain, I wouldn't say anythings guaranteed for the race.

Just to piss off you haters, Schumacher will win the race on Sunday.

I like the new Merc engine cover. Quite unusual to see the intakes towards the rear of the engine. I noticed slight tweaks to the front wing but the nose looks the same as before (drooping). Wheelbase is apparently 5cm longer:

Wow! That is dramatic. The old Lola Champ Cars are the last open-wheel cars I can think of without the center high mounted intake.

They've been doing a lot with the intakes lately, not sure what prompted this change.
