Default WDCR Event #2 at Fed Ex Field on 5/2/10

Sign up is at www.dlbracing.com for those not already registered.

Didn't see a thread and it's not too far from now. Current forecast is a 30% chance of thunderstorms and 89 degree temps, which could make for a very interesting day on new sealed portions. At least the temps will be up so perhaps the surface will be okay. I'm really hoping it doesn't rain, I want to actually test out the new surface. I'm also hoping that the day isn't delayed significantly or cancelled, ala last year's Event #1. I guess we'll all have to keep our fingers crossed.

Is it put back together already? The damage seemed pretty significant

See you Sunday, hope the weather holds up.

New (stock/OEM) balljoint, new spindle, and a realignment. Pretty easy stuff, and IAG found some downtime to get it together.

The fender, OTOH.... Stupid flames.

My codriver is out for Sunday. So I was just going to drive mine for this event BUT I have a rejected safety inspection sticker (foglight out. Fixed it already). Will I pass tech?

Or do I need to get reinspected before the event? Or does anyone want a codriver?

Why would you fail tech? There's no requirement that the car has to be legally registered, just has to pass tech inspection. And if it's just a foglight, you're good.

I'm signed up! Hopefully I don't start a garage fire this weekend causing me to cancel again.

Hi, just signed up for this. It'll be my first autocross, and on top of that I'm going to drive a car I just bought last week! Not gonna lie, kinda nervous.

I've been watching your videos piknockout, trying to get an idea of what to expect. Unfortunately, they don't make much sense to my untrained eye. Just looks like fun driving. I went to the WDCR Event #1 to watch and sat in a couple friends' cars but was too shocked at how hard they were actually driving to learn anything... it looked like they were just putting around from the outside.

Anyway, my car was already modded when I bought it and I don't really want to touch anything even though it's probably not ideal. I do have two sets of rims though, and was wondering if I should switch from the 18" Prodrive PFF7's with 235/40/18 Nitto Invo's to the stock BBS. Thanks for any info.

Welcome Paul!

In... the car is currently at the body shop waiting to get somewhat descuffed, and to have the front bumper reattached, and the rear lip fixed, and the rear fenders rolled... nothing that sexy.

Hopefully the lot isn't a ****ing mess like last time
