disc golf

I did a search on disc golf and all the posts were pretty old. I was just wondering if anyone throws disc in the houston area. Me and my buddies play. Usually Tom Bass I or Jack Brooks... sometimes Buffalo Bayou but that tends to eat discs. Always looking for a new course. There are over 12 in Houston alone.

We only play semi-serious... I personly shoot for par. So gimme a shout if you play (or even if you don't) and would like to hookup and throw some.

Ack, the word frisbee shall haunt me forever... ok you bring a frisbee(tm) and I'll bring my discs.

Seriously, I'm thinking Tom Bass either sat. or sun., weather permitting. I might bring out my brunton compass to mark out the course on an aerial photograph for the website.

I've got dinner guests coming over Sat. so I can't make it then. Dunno about Sunday yet. I'll check. Isn't Tom Bass right off the Beltway?

Affirmative. On the south side of the beltway, just east of 288. (probably two blocks north of Bill's old residence).

K, aiming for sunday morn then. 9am. Meet at the tennis courts/pavillion.

I might be in. I throw the frisbee often with the dogs(aussies). Sounds like it might be fun to try. Plus, we live about 5 mins from Tom Bass.

does anyone know of any good places to play in north dallas? I played all last summer when i was in indiana, but i dont have that disk anymore, noone around here wants to go outside

I want to come to, but its a bit of a drive from here . .

I've played a couple of the N. Dallas parks. Mainly in the Carrollton (Green Belt) and Garland (Audobon), they are both on the website. Both were ok

i'm gonna pass this time, but i'll be interested in playing soon. we had people over for dinner and i will be enjoying sleeping in tomorrow after bustin' my butt all day to get everything ready!
