Default Wanted 2004-05 FXT Man...Transmission

Let me know if anyone ones knows where i can get a transmission from a 2004-05 manual transmission from a Turbo forester. Thanks

I have some of 07 FXT trans. What exactly did you need?

I was told that the trans from the 04-05 where the better ones. I am putting it in my wrx

what i have will not work for you. But you will want the rear diff as well. And yes the 04-05 is a pull type so you can use the same flywheel, pressure plate and clutch from your wrx (02-05). Other than that internals are all the same up to at least 07. If you have an -06 or 07, you will want an 06-07 case (push type).

But just to help, might want to post your car, intentions and location.

You can also rebuild yours with the front diff (300 from flat irons tuning). rear diff is gonna be a bit harder to locate though for a good price.

Also, i have a thread somewhere that talks about switching mine to a 4.444 + LGT 1-2 gear. Might want to read it before you dive in to this project.
