Whole car is complete but without an engine. We do have several engine components sitting around that could be put together to make a complete engine set up though.

All parts are currently sitting just outside of Roanoke, VA at the in-laws. I do not have pictures because we live in Indiana. We will be going down there over memorial day weekend (may 29-31) and will be pulling parts people are interested in and selling parts to those that can drive there. We will be able to meet up with people on the way back through to sell/drop off parts.

A mostly complete list:

original Rod Millen Springs - pending
Poly center bushings for stock swaybars
HKS intercooler (10"x10"x3" core)
Roadrace Engineering full set of solid strut tower braces
Spare transmission
3 or 4 Good Radiators
Control arms
3 heads
one block
miata pistons (automatic I think)
connecting rods
RoadRace Rally air box
stock turbo on a cracked exhaust manifold
Good HKS muffler from the original system designed for the GTX
Another K&N airfilter panel that fits the GTX Box
AFM cone adapter with an Injen Cone filter (cotton like K&N)
Oil pans (one, maybe 2)
2 full sets of GTX seats (front and rear)
Shifter Cables
cams/ cam gears
oil pump
Full interior (minus headliner)
set of stock wheels with unused Falkin Ziek tires
good fuel tank with pumps
Road Race remapped ECU
stock flywheels
gauge clusters
626gt Intercooler
Road Race Manuel Boost controller
Dirtra Struts Pending
Mazdaspeed Comp strut mounts. Pending
Mazdaspeed top motor mounts Pending
Nuckles, hubs....
drive shaft
axles...
And.....Probably lots more

Right now we are accepting offers on all parts.

All of the parts should fit in the back of a pickup truck and the rest are stuffed into a rust free rolling chassis which can be towed by a dolly. (it was hit in the rear last year and is now used for storing clean parts)

$3,000 if you would like to take the car and all the parts as a whole.

wire harness - what section of the harness are you looking for? Just the engine, or more?
RRE ecu - $200
RRE air box - $40
turbo - I am not sure on its condition. It might need to be rebuilt, or it might be ok. I won't know until I get my hands on it next weekend.

main harness from the computer to engine if no wires cut and all that tie into it for other componets! interested in the whole harness if pricing is right! Just trying to save myself from having to redo the one currently in the car someone hacked on! Can fix it but prefer one that hasnt been messed with! Also woud be interested in a distributor and possibly a block! Why is the engine dissassembled if I might ask? Thanks for getting back so quick too!

I'll get back with you about pricing on the harness ... have to think about a price on that one lol. There was one wire that we replaced going to the starter, but other than that, it is fully intact. I am not sure if we have a distributor in our lot right now, but I can let you know for sure next weekend.

When this car got rear-ended we bought a rolling gtx shell to swap this engine and tranny into since it was just rebuilt. So this car now has the engine components that came with the rolling shell. The previous owner of that car had everything taken apart with plans of rebuilding it all, but never got to it. I do have miata pistons also, if you are interested.

The ecu is mapped for 16psi at 7200rpm. It does not require to air box, so it will work with the stock one. Just the engine side of the harness will be $50. Make us an offer on the whole thing - it will require pulling the dash out and what not and I couldn't find any comparable listings to get a price range.

PM me your phone number and I'll try to give you a call friday night once I have put my hands on everything. If anyone wants to pick up any parts - we will have Saturday afternoon and Monday open for pick up.

Default 1988 Mazda 323 GTX complete part out

I'm looking for a sunroof and hatch for a GTX. I'm in Illinois and could head to Bloomington, IN to meet you. I'd like the HKS muffler as well, if it's the one from the turbo-back ("off-road only") exhaust, rather than the cat-back set (the difference is pipe diameter, I believe).

I'd also take the fuel tank/pump setup as well.

Thanks in advance.

I don't believe that HKS made a turbo back for this car. What we have is the axle back part of the cat-back HKS exhaust.

The car is sitting outside with a car cover on it. Until we are able to get it to Bloomington and part it out completely in our garage, we need it to stay water tight, so I don't feel comfortable pulling the sunroof or hatch off at the moment.

I am not sure that we will have room in the car for the gas tank/fuel pump with everything else we are pulling. We will bring it back with us if we still have room.

Default HKS exhaust & GTX parts

HKS made a turbo-back setup for a while (shortly after the car's intro), but it was off-road only so there weren't many of them sold. No cat, but a resonator in place of the cat, and included a whole new downpipe from the turbo as well. I have the complete setup in place on one of my cars now, but could use some spare pipes, and the pipe that has the "S" in it to go up and over the back axle on my car snagged an obstruction while being driven onto a trailer.

I understand the weathertight issue and wouldn't want to leave the car open either, so if it works out that the items I mentioned earlier are available, I'd appreciate a yell.

I have three GTXs now, two in mint condition in dry storage with 14-17,000 miles on them (yes, that low), but my daily driver now has 72,000 (still low for a 22 year old car) and needs the usual maintenance & rust work.

Thanks for your reply, and good luck on your parting-out process.

Scott

Well I learn something everyday It is awesome to hear of someone taking care of these cars. We were caretakers for a while, but the world was out to get us with these cars. My husband, Joe will actually be in Illinois tomorrow (Urbana) and just mentioned that he would love to see your cars if you are on his beaten path.

I will definitely contact you when we have the car here, no worries. Uhaul wants an arm and a leg to trailer it up here, so I am waiting on my dad to decide when he wants to drive to Michigan to visit family so he can trailer it up here on his car trailer.

Default HKS exhaust & GTX parts

Yes, I really enjoy these cars, though I don't have the time to do so as much as I'd like. I'm proud of my sons for their love of cars and their ability to learn so much about them. Both have Mazdas still, with one also having two Subarus.

My "Subaru" son, who tipped me to your original post here, went to school in Urbana, but we're almost four hours north of there, in Northern IL, which probably is a bit out of the way. But we made that trip between home and U of I many times over the time he was there.

I don't know if I'd trust anyone else to trailer your car, especially U-Haul. It was their trailer that snagged the exhaust system of the GTX that I'm now looking for parts for!

If you do have time to get up here drop me a note as two of the cars are stored off-site, though I have full access 24/7. If only I had a ten-car garage, as we also have an '81 RX-7 with 17K miles on it as well.

Thanks for the note!
