Default Looking for an LCD projector to use in the classroom

Anyone out there who knows their stuff think this one would be OK for occasional use with small group instruction:

Amazon.com: LCD Video Projector (Includes HDMI Cable & Extra Bulb) Great for DVD, Wii, XBox, Playstation: ElectronicsAmazon.com: LCD Video Projector (Includes HDMI Cable & Extra Bulb) Great for DVD, Wii, XBox, Playstation: Electronics

I have developed a lot of PowerPoint games and math activities I let the kids play on my computers in the classroom, but thought I'd step the game up a little next school year by having a dedicated station with projector.

I only have $500.00 of supply money to spend next year and didn't really want to blow it all on one item.

Is buy.com one of those deal a day sites, or will this item and that price still be legit in a few days?

Ok, so I'm going with the one Alacrity suggested unless anyone else has a better option.

You can do soooo much with a projector in the classroom! We have one in our room that's hooked up to a Ladybug. You can put anything - books, worksheets, manipulatives - underneath the Ladybug's camera and it will be projected onto the screen. Also, we just got a Mimeo pad that's like a tiny Whiteboard, where you can work out say, a math problem, away from the board in the front of the room, as you are circulating the class checking student work.

Amazon's reviews are pretty helpful when trying to determine the best product to buy. We have Epson projectors at our school. I've never encountered a problem with ours, but the bulbs can burn out fairly quickly.

Yep.

We have several we can check out from the school, but it seemed like this year that I was always having to bargain with other teachers to get the projector. So, I am just going to get my own.

I have a Smart Board on the way too.
