Question 02 WRX Stereo Install Help

I looked on the FAQs, but didn't see any real suggestions.

I am trying to install an aftermarket CD Player in a 2002 WRX. I got the lower bin/pocket from a Legacy, but there is nothing to mount either the bin or the head unit to.

I checked on Crutchfield, and Summit. Nothing there besides a universal lower bin/pocket.

Who has done this before, and what kit did you use to mount the head unit?
And/or mount the lower bin/pocket?

Thanks for any help.

Greg, you use the metal brackets from the stock radio, if you look there is 4 screws on each side that hold them on

screw the new radio and the din pocket to the brackets

In my experience, those screws strip out about 50% of the time. Make sure the screwdriver is snug.
