Wow... I wish I had known Radio Le Mans was covering it (top comment). I was watching the streaming coverage with the VERY limited grasp of German I have, and had almost no idea what was going on.

I don't think I've ever seen anyone climb out of a car going at that speed before. I'm guessing something was wrong with the brakes from the fire?

Scary!

Wish I could have made it to the race this year. I have been going for the last couple of years as a guest of Franjo Kovac's Besaplast Racing Team (Porsche 997 GT3 Cup car). Last year we were in the BMW suite. I had a great time!

I tried to post from my BB but it apparently didn't go through. I believe there's a comment somewhere on the Youtube page about debris going into either the brake ducts or air intakes.
