Default Top mount oil cooler with fmic? results?

I am in the market for an aftermarket oil cooler and ran across the b-line top mount for people with a fmic. I was woindering if anyone here used one or has one and how much it helped being under the hood scoop. Or if the location had an ill effect/heat soak because of the location. I am kinda leaning towards the tmoc as it does look badass!!

B-Line Motorsports - Oil Coolers

As of now my car doesn't even have an oil cooler. My engine builder says the stocker isn't necessary as it only heats up the oil and doesn't really cool it at all. I just don't feel comfortable driving without one especially after noticing how thin my oil was after chewing a bearing on my built motor. You could barely tell there was oil on the dipstick. My next rebuild shold be done soon but then again i feel that some form of oil cooling is needed in my case.

would be interested to see a pressure gauge with that hooked up. that would be the highest point oil would need to be pumped to

I know you need to add around another qt of oil to fill the cooler.

I suggest reading:

Somehow I doubt an oil cooler is for you, and somehow I think Subaru's engineers know more than your mechanic.

at the least i think i will get another stock cooler. I still have my old onebut it is from a motor that popped a ringland and I'd rather not risk reusing it just in case there's any metal in there.

That's a good idea.
