I will definitely make a thread when I get to the track. Had it out once on a smaller Holset and bad clutch (couldnt launch hard) it trapped 125mph at 5800ft elevation. It makes around 45-55 more whp on the road dyno with this turbo so we'll see what that can do...

Virtual Dyno (mustang dyno mode)
Made 536whp on the dynojet mode...
Weight listed at 3300 b/c of a full tank and tools etc, weighs 3200 w/me when its ready to race... Hoping for some good times!!

Doesn't spool terrible for a big snail on a 2.0 at 6600ft, really like this turbo! (boost on the graph is actually absolute manifold pressure)

So you're running 41#?! Or is that a funny way to measure it from what I'd normally see? Looks laggy, but if that 20# number is what I should be looking for, mid 4k is GREAT for a turbo that does high 12x's at your altitude!

You should obviously run it over 8, it's still climbing at healthy rate!

Took some new photos today, it definitely needs a drop and some wheels, oh well.

With this last two I had a try at the Brenizer method, that's way they are in a weird format and they have shallower dof than usual. (the pic above was taken with a 24mm so that doesn't count)

Nice and clean example. Don't mess with it too much imo. When I bought my wagon I wanted to mess with it but the longer I own it, the more I think subaru got it right the first time. So far all I have done to my bugeye wagon is a nice dark tint and a JVC AV70bt head unit is on the way. All I plan to do in the future is maybe a small drop and some engine tweaks. I like sleepers and wagons are the perfect sleeper car imo

41.5psi absolute... So 27psi boost at sea level (30 up here)

It has seen full boost by 5k, but has a pretty broad power band above that... I've slowly been inching the rev limiter up... lol...

Thanks!

Looks awesome, was that one piece or a 3 piece like the oem sedan lip? I like the jna, but I think If I had the money id try to fit the prodrive/ v lim combo, looks so clean. What did you do with the one in that pic? Like I said, even if I don't like the look as much I would run it all day just because you never see them on wagons

Found your personal website and am pretty jazzed on the car. Overall, it's REALLY simple! Besides rotating the IM, doing a 2.1(2.5 crank), and slightly different cams, I honestly have been thinking something like your car would be a good goal.

8500 seems reasonable. That is, unless you need to take it out further to find the hump...

It was one piece, that's what makes me think it was a knock off. It was held on by double sided tape, one bolt through each corner of the bumper, and a bunch of screws underneath. It was cool because it was different, but it just didn't flow well with my car. I actually just remembered that I have the rear bumper lip as well that goes with it. Not my style, so its just hanging in my garage. I'll take some pictures of it in case anyone is interested in it. Unfortunately it was taken out by a chunk of ice last winter

Edit: Just realized you said yours is one piece. Maybe it is an OEM piece...

Thank you kind sir.

It's just a 2.0 bored 20 over. I went with the newer 2.0 crank w/ the updated drilling.

I'm surprised these BC's make power so high, but it really floats my boat
I think I will take it out a little higher and see what happens.. it has good bearings, the better crank, and an 11mm pump w/ 1 shim.. Was just worried to spin it too high, between oiling issues and the eagle rods ya know....

thanks,

Thanks! I just painted it about 2 months ago, the color is off Lexus IS-F. It looks way purpler in real life. Here is a build thread i did over at 9-2Xforum...
