Lowered with snow tires: any problems when the snow gets up to your hood?

thanks. I love the FXTs. The only problem I've ever had with this one is that the valve cover gasket's leaking. But it's got high miles so it's expected

here's one of my old black one I had before. Never had a problem with this one until it got totalled

Not to sure yet! Although before I snapped this pic I went through a 3ft snow bank/drift on accident and it was totally fine. I took my lip off after this since it almost ripped off on the right side.

yea they were a peachy color, after those I had gold sti bbs's, ther gold 2010 wrx wheels, then finally these. this setup is 17x9 35+ tires are nankang 235/40/17. I had Dunlop direzza 245/40 but the side walls were to thick so I had to switch them.

Legacy 92 Legacy L on Enkei GT-R wheels (work car)

for the first couple pages I thought my Legacy L wagon would be out of place... then after browsing most of these 446 pages, I changed my mind...

I realize this is a Wagon pic/description exchange thread, and I will be posting at least part of my work car here tonight...

Biggest reason: Wondering is my wheels are as rare as they seem looking with Google...

Enkei GT-R (5 spoke with ONLY 5 lug holes, not Unilug) 15x6.5 JJ 40

I could not find images of this model wheel, except 10 hole Unilug 5, 8 hole Unilug 4, and some 4 hole versions, mostly for Hondas...

(I have a set of 4, which could be for sale to the right person)

I guess I will have to take more pictures tomorrow, when it is light out.

I know I took some on my phone, just before I bought the car.. poof, gone...

Well, it's white with a blue interior, like so many others, except at 300,000 miles on the odometer both the interior and exterior are in great shape.

Someone replaced or rebuilt the engine at some point, don't know which.

It tracks well on the road, but I see I need to replace the front strut mounts ($55 each ?) and likely the rear ones as well.

Ideally I bought it to get to and from work, which is sometimes climbing (rally style) from about 3500 feet to a bit over 8000 feet to a remote transmitter site I maintain, and I will probably keep it for that long after I buy my Impreza for the real fun.

If I can edit this post tomorrow, I will add pictures.
(still needs windows tinted for desert driving, and a set of winter tires, and I have a CV shaft to install up front when I feel motivated...)

Saw a thread here on building a custom sub to blend with the interior, and the older wagon has a ton of room for that behind a strut tower or both... (It'll keep me busy a while so I don't get impatient saving for a newer Impreza)

It's the Auto tranny Legacy, with an open rear diff, though from a standing start in dirt, punching it always breaks both front tires and one back tire free for several feet (needs new tires)..

I am sure I will be asking lots of questions in the DIY and other sections of the forums...

Nice to meet y'all.
