+many many numbers. If you shoot the car first you'll have extra paint to do the lip, and you won't make the cars in fast and furious look subdued and understated

I've thought a lot about matte black. Im getting coilovers, then paint or a wrap. I just cant decide which.

Right on. It's definitely a bummer to have to spend that kind of money just to get it looking normal again. But look at it this way- you can do whatever you want with it now that it's a necessary expense. Flat black always looks cool, johnsea has pretty much proved that definitively. Then again, you could go with something a little less traditional since it'll still be toned down compared to the current paint job... I love the dark bronze bugeye that I used to see all the time in north jersey, no idea who's it is. But dude, you could also plasti dip that isht. Dipmycar.com shows a video, since the stuff peels off you barely have to tape anything off so it's a simple DIY. And that'll be your flat black so you can see if you like it

Any idea on prices for plasti dip? I canwrap the car for about 500 myself, but I've done vinyl and its not as easy as it looks. You have the right idea though, I can go ANYWHERE with it now.

To each his own, but seriously....really?? Isn't there a 'rice' thread this could go in? This is an insult to other bug eye owners.

He bought it that way and has every intention of changing the paint.

I vote rally WRC Blue but do it properly, not thing like subaru did. Nice strong metallic fleck too so it really catches the sun.

Matt black would look cool too but it seems to be a bit of a fad.

Edit: See the post just above me. That's how bugeye's should look

^agreed except flat black bein a fad. Hot rodders have been doin it for decades. Just seems like a fad bc in the last 5 years imports and tuners have started applying it more...

Another win suby_Dude!!! Both color wheels look great, as the car is nice and clean with a good stance on it. I like the lighter wheels as they flow with the headlights, clear reflectors and side markers.

Except when have hot rodders WRAPPED their cars that color? I do agree though. Matte white is my dream, but I heard it gets dirty, and then it's ruined.

suby_dude, the PWR are my favorite rotas yet. So clean.
