How's it a fad? I've seen about 10 subarus painted flat black in the states. Flat colors look awesome and are different compared to the 1000s of wrb and psm colored subarus (no offense to anyone) as well as any paint job that's done right. It's just funny to me that a painted car that has the same paint job as another car its considered a fad when there's only a few cars that are painted that color. Not being a dick just saying it gets old hearing stuff like that, especially hearing my cars like mannys or like rusty slammigton. Whatever I'm just rambling.

I don't think he was talking about Subarus in specific. Many people in the import scene who can't afford a real paint job have resorted to rattle canning or vinyl wrappings. It's become more apparent since Plasti-dip came out as well.

Ya and that's a big difference to between having a car actually painted vs plasti dip and rattle can, but to each their own

Instead of starting a new thread I thought I'd ask here first; I am missing the black plastic protector from inside my driver's side rear wheel well. I am trying to find the proper part online and am not seeing different sides available. Does anyone know if they interchangable left to right? Thanks

Don't see why they wouldn't be interchangeable

Don't those black protector strips hold in moister close to the body and can cause rust?

^yep they do. I've removed them on most of my cars and its amazing how much mudd and dirt is underneath. If you are worried about tire damage just roll/pull that fender a little

If your weather is anything like New England weather those are the first thing that should go....esp with sand and salt on roads just a recipe for disaster.
