i guess im getting old.. lol.. but i think ill be putting my bugeye up for sale/trade in the next month or so...switch to something i probably wont want to modify. just need to take off the external wastegate and downpipe and put the stock STI parts on so i can actually go WOT. and then it will be a 100% legally swapped car as well.

ill miss her though when shes gone

Why not just make it less flashy (more subtle and quieter) or buy a cheap daily?

Nah, its more so that I want to start putting money away. And when I have $10,000+ in mods I still want to do to the Subie, that would be an impossible task. So if I get rid of the temptation, then ill hopefully see my bank account get larger..lol... plus with 2 kids, the Subie gets kind of cramped... even my Evo had more room inside then this car..its so tiny..lol

Wouldn't it make more financial sense to just keep what you have then to sell it at a loss?

Didn't you just finish it a few months ago? If you go wingless, silver wheels, and lift a few inches with an Sti cbe it would look so much more tame. Kinda funny, I would recommend an rs as a replacement but... Lol

if i were to completely stop putting money into it, then yes, it would be smarter.. but if i have the car, the itch is there to modify it.. i think it would be smarter to sell at a loss, and buy something i wont modify and save money every month by not buying parts.

yeah, the swap is only a few months old now. and im not worried about the looks really, i love the way it looks.. its the itch to spend a ton more money on it to get it how i want it.. and i want to get rid of the itch by getting rid of the car.. and lol, buying the RS is what got me into this perdicament to begin with ...hahahahahahahhaa....

dont get me wrong, i LOVE the car... it came out great in my opinion.... but, im tired of always being broke :/ lol

Tried this and failed miserably lol...Sold my bugeye, bought a corolla loved it at first great gas mileage, money in my pocket, never drew attention from cops. But all my friends still had their hooked up cars, still went to car meets ect... so after a bout a month I was miserable sold the corolla to a family member bought another subie haha.

I guess what I am saying is what you're saying sounds great now, but REALLY make sure this is a decision you want to follow through on. I lost a ton of money selling my bugeye with the money I had invested in it, and what I sold it for. Then when I bought this one I had to start over again, not from scratch as some of the work was already done but none the less if I had just kept the first one it would of been cheaper for me in the long run.

Side note:I guess it depends on what kind of car you go too. If I had gotten something that was more of a middle ground, say a legacy gt or something, rather then going from a relatively fast car to a slow grandpa car then I may of not switched back.
