Honestly if I was going to do anything to your ride the only thing I would look at is correcting the line the front lip makes to match the skirts/rear.

Otherwise... all is good.

Looking at this hood scoop, it appears that it is the 04-05 wrx scoop and NOT the 04-05 STI hood scoop. I dont think it looks too bad and it is probably the same size as the jdm sti hood scoop. Sooooooo does anyone know where I can get a 04-05 "WRX" hood scoop, again not the sti 04-05. I doubt they are a direct swap either. Any help is welcomed plus JDM sti hood scoops are a rip off

I do not believe that the hood scoop will direct bolt on...I know a lot of people buy the 04/05 sti replica hood scoops, which do bolt right on, and then they do some custom work shaving it down to the size of the wrx one. I could be mistaken perhaps the wrx one is a direct bolt on. I just bought a jdm sti hood scoop since it was actually designed for the curves of the car and I personally feel it looks best, but good luck finding one.

I like the jdm ones too, but 240 for a painted one ahhhhh and the only shape difference is that the 04-05 has the extended lip due to the 04-05 hood being more rounded. I read somewhere that with out the "lip" on the scoop, air would have flowed right over the hood scoop. The 02-03 hood has more of an angle downward.

There are threads that cover this exact topic already, just use the handy search feature. The 04-05 will fit on the 02-03 hoods but the shape of the holes of the two hoods is different. This being said, the 04-05 will have a small gap on the sides from being the different shape.
I know there is a member on here that has taken an 04-05 scoop and modified it so that it looks factory. I plan on doing just that when I decided to pick one up.

yes. i've thought about the manly size a couple weeks ago.
my friend with a 240 wants to get one as well.

i'll be also getting some sort of sideskirt splitters and might rock only a prodrive lip with a front splitter. then the big wing will come in to play
