That's the first thing I thought of too when I saw Con's car. They do look better than just the wrx wing though I have to say.

I think its better than the stand alone wing risers. Personally I like the wing in the standard format or no wing at all. Now that they are making a replica I guess we will be seeing more of this look.

He has not mounted the spoiler up. Quad did mount the chargespeed mid wing came out really well. Here it is being test fitted with with the crazy big wing of the Papa Customs car:

To be honest, you're probably putting the molded prodrive at even more risk by leaving the other off. Depending on how it's attached, if you scoop snow and it rips the lower lip up, it could rip the prodrive to s**t. Whereas the prodrive would just take the snow's hit easily and/or glide right over it because it's so tight to the bumper with no real extrusion.

Just my $.02, though.

No it's not my thing. People have different tastes though. When I first picked up my Bugeye almost three years ago, it was a POS. It had those ricey-ass wing risers and those were the first thing I got rid of.

This is my opinion on spoilers:

Do-Luck trunk > Mines > STi limited > Wingless > Syms wing > STi wing

I'm extremely picky, but I'm also not too much of a hater. I have an idea in my head of the perfect build and anything that strays too far from that I don't find attractive.

Yeah I agree with you on that front.. at first I'd want to say it looks like a molded inverted spoiler, but then you see how big the molded area is and I get curious.

No worries, I was not at all insinuating. Just coincidence. I feel the same way. It's been pretty rare stateside, and JapanParts is selling it for over a grand. So I would be pissed that its going to be more common. And honestly, I didn't like it when I first saw it, but it grew on me. Reminds me of the GT2 double-decker wings...
