Quick question. I just bought some 08 wrx 17's for my bugeye. I am trying to pick out wheels and. 235/40/17's are very slightly smaller than the stock tire sizes per all. Specifically .5" shorter and .2" skinnier. I was wondering how wide I can go without rubbing on anything.

The car will be getting agx struts and eibach pro springs pretty soon, so it all has to fit together. Any info is helpful.

How is a 235 skinnier than a 205?

I have no idea I just looked up the original overall size for my stock tires and then the size of the kumho's on the website an that is what it gave me.

Maybe just my opinion but I like how that looks. Yes it's a little ricey but even then it gives it a very mean look to it imo. I like the video. Came out great looking!

Awesome. I look forward to seeing it done . Im doing a white pearl on my subie atm. Its completely stripped down and sanded. I hope it comes out good as it's my first time using a paint gun. Ive spent countless hours sanding and prepping it as well as making sure I had everything in line to do it right. I didnt realize how much work it takes to paint a car the right way lol to include 500g wetsand for primer prep, then wetsanding the primer, spraying 3 coats of basecoat, tack coat with pearl, then bunches of clear. Not to metion the cut and buff stage phew.

If it were easy everyone would do it but sounds like your doing it right, I remember when I sprayed my first truck, it didnt come out so good, but with time it gets better, can't wait to see how it turns out

Yeah, it's quite a job. IAG will have my car for about 6 weeks. My car will have some candy on it so that will take some extra time as well.

Good luck on your project.

You are very right. I pitty the fool that tries this without extensive research and youtube videos at the least. I had a basic understanding of what to do but there was a lot of stuff I didnt know about. Ill post up pics soon as the progress unfolds.

And it is well worth whatever you're paying them. Ive seen some candy paint paintjobs and there is a lot of time spent on that paint gun. GL to you as well.
