I just hope that more people can open their eyes to what these cars are capable of.

I think function over form, but no problem with lowering the car

For example:

It's lowered but still functional (I drive it on clay roads etc for work)

I don't think I'm 100% go on any of them although in person it might be a different story.
I'm not sure how it will look against all of the cf, but I suggest copper colored wheels. If you want the look of polished copper specifically, duplicolor has a kit for that, just like the black chrome kit.

Default My new bugeye that used to live in my house.

My dad bought this '03 WRX in late 2002 from the Subaru dealership in Greenville, SC. I drooled over it for a year. He sold it with 2500 miles to a friend of mine (he was ten years older...dad said I wasn't mature enough to drive a WRX) who drove it until last week. I bought it with 44,700 miles on it and all the Cobb stage 2 stuff. It's faster than I remember. It has BBS wheels from the dealership and the best stereo of any of the 10 cars I've owned. Wing is coming off soon, door dings and chips are getting fixed, other than that I'm gonna leave it alone and drive it like a bat out of hell.

Not upset. Not butthurt. Just expressing MY opinion that it looks horrendous, no matter how functional it is.

Just like you dont like how people "hate" on a functional car for looking bad, people into how a car looks dont like when they're told they're "ruining a race car" or it "does nothing for the handling". Its a Subaru. A relatively cheap japanese car. Nothing more. Its not a rally car. Its not a race car.

Actually, he said himself that it was lifted for rallycross. So yes, it is a race car No, it's not a stage rally car, and is in no way of the same caliber of the WRC car I posted, but it will be competitively driven, you know, like, in a race.

FWIW I enjoy both sides. My car is lowered (slightly, would be more if I had more money ), and I really enjoy seeing a nice aggressive stance. I also enjoy rally/rallycross/competitive driving. What I don't enjoy is either side bitching about the other It's frustrating. Different strokes for different folks and all that. Why can't we get along? Everyone is of course entitled to their opinions, and expressing them but you'd think he killed a kitten or something with some of the responses to those pictures You don't have to hate one to like the other

Anyway, I grabbed a daytime pic of the car today. Dried a little funky in places, so it's definitely going to need a couple more coats to even out the finish. Looks alright - much better (in person at least) than the cheap, mismatched WRB that the previous owner had it sprayed in, and since it only took $48 worth of plastidip for this first coat and I can't afford a real paintjob at the moment, I can't really argue.

EDIT: Yes, I know there is still plastidip all over the windows - it got dark last night before I could clean up, and I still haven't had a chance to peel it off.

Save your hate at the wheels, a friend did them up to promote his powdercoating business. They will be redone in the spring to something different.

Since being lowered on Eibach's with spacers in the rear.
