No, it's WRB haha. It's just the filter I created for it, toned it down a bit for effect. Not a bad looking color, though...

I am for sure getting springs, I've decided. Can't afford coil overs, but the monster truck look has bothered me for over a year. I'm looking at some eibach springs.

I can't decided between Springs and Roof vane, or Springs and STI grill. I'm thinking springs and Roof vane to be honest.

Eibach's eh? I feel like with the pro-kit, the front MONSTER gap still looks insanely huge, but that's just me.

The Eibach's are the same as the Prodrive's as far as drop height. I can tell you 100% I wouldn't go any lower for a DD.

As it stands I don't scrape a thing but only just barely.

The ride when combined with some 22/24 mm sways is fairly amazing, precise with just a hint of oversteer.

I always laugh at guys with cracked lips driving 1/4 mile out of their way to avoid a speed bump so they don't destroy their cars

So I won't buy a lip lol.

But honestly, I have only see these cracked lip issues with guys that are slammed on coilovers. I have never seen a set of springs (for a bugeye anyways) that makes the care have no wheel gap. Hell, even s-techs there is still at least a two finger gap in front.

I will go back and look at those springs though.

If your referring to my post about eibach... universal 2.5" dia springs with ground control coil sleeve kit is apples and oranges to their Subaru specific springs.

So with the new conversion, I have been on the edge of wasting the 500-600 dollars on a good set of JDM headlights, my problem is. I am anal about the lenses and I want them basically brand new, which will end up costing me 900+ and let's be real here, that is money better spent.

So I've decided to go with the Performance Auto Solutions headlight retrofit. Kinda sucks that I have to wait till January to get it done but! I get an awesome alternative to overpriced JDM lights.

Retrofit ftw. 300$ and I have amazing light output. Get a headlight restoration kit. I used the turtle wax one and as impressed. Also with a retrofit, you can make them look how you want to!

Am I the only one who hates this new car enthusiast movement which entails ANY car slammed is fresh?? I mean the look of a slammed car is awesome, I'd never do it to my car so unpractical, but when did the line get so blurred between having a fresh car to begin with then lowering it to make it even nicer looking and having a every day whatever car and making it "helluh flush yo" I don't get it (

I hate Volkswagen kids they started this trend! Some of the kids in my town drive these like 20 year old Volkswagen station wagon things (hideous though I guess different strokes for different folks) and since they're on bags its like the sickest **** on earth, I dunno if I will ever understand =/

Side not to the person asking a bout the eibach lowering springs I had them on my wrx with wrx struts and my rear end was pretty low maybe 1 finger of wheel gap, however the front had a solid 3-4. My bugeye now is on usdm sti struts and eibach lowering springs and it has a much different stance, While my rear is not as low the car is much more evened out I'd say both my front and rear have around 2 fingers of wheel gap.

Hmmm. Thanks for the insight. I'm also looking at some H&Rs. My friend has some and said hed give me a deal on them. Also I'm the same way. I don't see how a bagged 1994 Pontiac Grand Am, or a slammed 1999 Mercury Cougar is very "fresh." I only feel some cars can pull it off. But what so I know, I'm 17 and live in Redder-than-blood Idaho. Kids these days and their trends... I remember when Yoshi's Island was the ****

Going wingless tomorrow, I'll post some pics, so I feel like I'm not derailing this thread with my suspension Inquiries.

So not to go back to the mpg thing but last time I calculated mine, monday I was getting 24 city and 29 highway... I'm running a full 3 inch setup with a VF-39 and other stuff. Even with my gas mileage I'm still able to play with a good amount of horse power. Now that number depends on how I get on it, but I do like to play around so that's pretty damn good numbers. I talked to my tuner when he was working on it and he set it pretty stout.

Another note it's funny I go to school in KC and 91 was 3.50 or more then I travelled home and on the way it has dropped to 3.20 halfway then when I get home to tulsa it's 2.85. In KC I spent $37 bucks to fill from half a tank. The. At home from the lone before E I only paid $30 bucks and it filled it. **** glad I'm going to be here a couple weeks.

Itís called diversity in a scene thatís dominated by a lot of cookie cutter. People bag on the stanced guys I say whatever its thier car not mine rock out with your bad self. If you donít like it your entitled to your opinion but we donít need it shared every other page..(not singling you out but folks in general) its getting old and to be honest the flush thing is a trend and like all trends it will come and go.

I don't even know why I'm posting this its like trying to put a house fire out with a squirt gun.
