Yes sir, quite a bit heavier than the kaminari. That's just from me picking them up side by side. I don't actually have the weight difference.

Are you against just the factory aluminum Wrx hood? I prefer my scoop just for the look, doesn't function at all since I too am Fmic. Can even throw a clear panel in there

Well I bought the car with the kaminari on it. However one day I forgot to lock the hood pins and yeahhh, it flew up and destroyed the windshield lol.

At that time I was sick of the kaminari and the insurance was paying for a new hood so I just went with the rs hood. I should of went with the wrx hood and like you said threw a clear panel in. Or even one of the regular scoop deletes and have it paint matched, sigh, oh well.

When are people going to get it through their heads? Bags arent all Snoop dog/pancaking impalas anymore... Bags are right along side coils now with the right setup but you arent static when it comes to speed bumps/curbs/etc.

RS hood flows MUCH better with the whole car. but the real eye sore is the double lip. the first lip looks fantastic, but that second lip, under the originial lip just looks foolish, sloppy, tacky and all types of wtf was he thinking? for gods sake its sagging. please remove it for the sake of all things holy

Calm down there, sparky. It's in the process of being taken off. As you can see in the pic with the kaminari on the left side is obviously missing so there's no point in keeping it on. It's currently 24 degrees here with snow on the ground so I'm in no hurry to take it off .

in all honesty and with no regards to anyone else's opinon i think that lip has potential since it gives a little curve to that bottom end there. It's not subtle enough though... HMM Ideas formulating...
