i love how they look if painted correctly. im not a huge fan of the prodrives/ebay knockoffs but theyre alright. Id rather stay stock or black out insides but really like the morrettes.

Morrettes take a particular bugeye to look good like adams above. I was thinking about doing some but I have enough headlights.

I understand your pain I been there done that, and I am not trying to be a dick, but what I did was tastefully modded my car best as I could. I waited for things that were tasteful and for a good deal since I was clearly on a budget, and still am. My suggestion is sell the cf hood/scoop and grab yourself a stock hood w/scoop and go from there. If you want I actually have 2 stock scoops that I am interested in selling one in MBP and one in Flat black I would sell cheap and it'd be a good temp solution get rid of that sti one. I'd then try and sell that front bumper and get a stock one after that you wouldn't be in such bad shape.

Yeah Adam (barnburner on here) got me on the whole clean shaved front bumper kick. It looks so much better IMO:

Not a huge fane of hellas anymore... love the sound not the look. Thats why I hid mine.

i kinda like the big scoop tho. and stock bumpers are so expensive brand new and i cant find a used one. plus i put alot of time into fitting and painting and sanding that body kit. i will probably keep my set up till after collage and i get a good job then im going to go for a rally look. or sell it and get a STi

I've spent a total of 6500 on my car, thats including the car. I would say it is "tastefully modified". Beside the front bumper, I just replaced it.

being poor is no excuse to ricey . I've been able to get a bigger turbo, go fmic, and 6 speed for around $300. I apologize that I couldn't tell the wheels through you ms paint chop . As it has been said many times before sadly the wrx/sti is becoming much more affordable as it gets older. Its our job to keep the youngsters in line with what is ok.

Funnky, I'm going to be nice to you, because a lot of other people on here won't be.

It's fine that you have your own tastes. And if you can say that you looked at every single lip available for the Bugeye and made the selection you did... simply because you like the style, then by all means, more power to you.

However, in the case that process never happened, I would imagine (that if you stick around NASIOC) that within a year you will find yourself trading your selling your setup to afford something a little more understated.

There are very, very specific reasons why those in the NASIOC crowd don't like 4" STi scoops on Bugeyes, don't like eBay projector headlights, and don't like oversized fiberglass lips. I won't go into the details as to why, but if you stick around long enough, you may slowly begin to realize why on your own.
